Twitterpated is definitely cute! I did both of the Workshops included in the Workshop On The Go guide. The first workshop is the scrapbooking layout pictured above. I then did the 6 cards, below, using the cute stamps, ribbon, dimensional buttons, and even liquid glass. I think they are adorable!! The workshops always run on the 3rd Friday of the month. You are welcome to come and join us at anytime.

Here is one page of a layout I found on the CTMH bulletin board. I didn't create it, but it is fabulous! I just love the tree they made.

Art & Soul®: NEW! Card Cache

You should watch the new ART & SOUL episode. They use this Bella paper and the Buttoned Together stamp-set, to make masculine cards and a layout using the reverse side of the B&T

Duo paper. I wasn't able to find an exact image from the Art&Soul so the one below is actually of the upcoming Bella workshop. Since it was the same paper and stamp-set I thought I would use it to give you an idea of the materials you will see in this episode. Although I don't have a MyCTMH website, I will still offer the special that is offered at the end of this episode. I also have to say Jeanette's Gratitude album is such a great idea, you'll enjoy seeing that too.

It’s amazing what you can do with a handful of products when you get creative. In this episode of Art & Soul, versatility is the key. We show you how to use the same B&T Duos® paper and achieve completely different looks. We highlight fun features of masculine cards and layouts, showcase innovative ways to use My Stickease®, as well as turn the spotlight on the multi-card workshops in the Wishes Card Confidence Program™. Finally, Jeanette Lynton shares a special themed album she made to capture some of the priceless memories she recorded on her blog: now that’s versatility!

New HeartFelt Whimsy Die-cuts and Flip Flaps

I just finished a layout I've been wanting to make for awhile now, I love you Mr. Potato Head. I had a lot of close up pictures of Jake, but I didn't want to leave any off of my pages and I didn't want to make more than one layout. The solution? Flip Flaps! Check it out. You could put the Flip Flaps on the cardstock but I wanted it to be interactive, so this is how I used them.

The title says I"heart"U Mr. Potato Head. The I"heart"U, part of the exclamation mark, and the swirl on the opposite page is from the new HeartFelt Whimsy Die-cuts.

I had tons of fun with this one.
Thanks for looking!

June's WOTG Back Country

Wasn't June's Workshop On The Go (WOTG) fun?! Camping is in the air now and what a better way to celebrate it than with an exclusive layout by Jeanette Lynton! For some of you, you have never seen a WOTG! I thought I would post some pictures of what we accomplished at our last Club night. You know a picture says a thousand words so this should help all of you who are more visual.

Main Back Country Layout. Created to take about 2 hours to complete. This is the exclusive layout and our main focus.

We also "power cut" two other layouts. The purpose of these two other layouts is to have them ready to go at home. When you have a fresh batch of pictures printed, you can pull out some of your ready to go layouts, that you have put together, and put your pictures, title, and embellishments on. These are done in the last hour of our club night. They may only take about 20 min to cut and adhere together, but sometimes there is a little more work involved such as this one. Look in your Summer Idea Book on page 17 to see both of these layouts completed.

And sometimes there is just cutting and adhering, such as this one. Slip these two layouts into your 12x12 storage container and they are ready for your upcoming pictures.

If this sparks your interest, I have an extra Back Country WOTG kit available to purchase for $34.23 includes your tax and shipping costs.

Our next WOTG is Moon Doggie on July 24. The order for this has already been submitted, but I do have one extra space available if you are interested in coming out! Post a reply or send me an email and I will get you set up.

Until then, Happy Scrappin'

New CTMH TV episode

Art & Soul: NEW! Running in Circles!
Check out the latest tutorial show and you will qualify for the discount at the end of it. The Friendship Word puzzle set is at a discount.

Every CTMH TV episode has a discounted package at the end of it.... Although I don't have a MyCTMH web site I will still give you the discount.

But just a note.... the Coluzzle has just been discontinued by it's manufactures (Provo Craft I believe) and so it is not worth purchasing. No blades are available through CTMH and I have phoned several scrapbooking locations, all of which also have none. :( This makes me sad as I just purchased some wonderful templates. I am creatively trying to figure out ways to still use them. Maybe there is another manufacture who makes a similar knife??? let me know if you know! I would love to still be able to use mine. I thought I could always trace it with a mechanical pencil and cut it out. I know slightly defeating the purpose for the circles, but it would work for the file-folder template.... just a thought.

WOTG Club

Workshops On The Go Club

Starting Date: May 22
Pre-Order Due by: April 30
free shipping on your entire pre-order if in by April 30
Here it is. Everyone's been asking about it, and it is about to start! The WOTG Club.

Emporium WOTG

Do you know about WOTG? They are workshops that are completely planned by CTMH to utilize your paper and supplies without waste! Each new paper pack since the Fall/Winter Idea Book '08 has a WOTG that goes with it. The focus is on a never before published 2 page layout by Jeannette Lynton. It is designed to take no longer than 2 hours to complete! There is still enough paper left from your level 2 paper pack to create 2 more layouts (4 more pages) and 3 more cards! These are pictured in the Workshop Guide that you will receive. That is a total of 6 pages and 3 cards! plus I always have paper left over for other projects too. Each night we will focus on completing the featured layout, but will also "power" cut and paste the additional 2 layouts! Talk about a feel-good night, to get so much done.

Stardust WOTG

We will vote as a group each time we meet on what WOTG we will do. A list will always be provided with cost as to the minimum supplies needed. It will range from between $25-30. There is also an upgraded list too which include the stamp set and other goodies that make your additional layouts shine. These are coordinated by CTMH so that everything coordinates perfectly.

That's Amore WOTG

As a club, a commitment will be required. We will meet once a month so each club member will get a chance to be a Hostess. That means FREE stuff for you!! Who doesn't love free stuff?? The minimum WOTG supplies will be required. I am looking for at least 7 ladies, that would make the minimum amount required $27; however, if the WOTG supply requirement is $30 that will be the cost that month. You are always free to purchase extras or choose from the upgraded lists of supplies. 7 ladies also means that we would meet for 7 months. We are free to decide as a group on which months we may need to take a break for, such as July or December for holidays.

Get your pre-order in by April 30 (the Idea Book Release Party) and receive free shipping on your entire order.

I can't wait to see you at the first WOTG Club!!

An Unforgettable Workshop

Warm, inviting colors and elegant floral patterns make CTMH's Unforgettable paper packet ideal for capturing your precious memories. For this workshop I;ll also show you how to use our dry embossing / scoring stylus to complement your artwork in fun and unique ways. I took the layout and changed it to fit my son's baby pictures. I thought it turned out well! For this workshop you will need Unforgettable level 2 Paper Pack, Unforgettable Level 2 My Stickease Assortment, and the Foundry Bookplates. I am looking to see who would be interested so please drop me a line as I thought this would be fun to do sometime in May!!

Oh how I love the Bellas!!

CTMH's Bellas are so cute! I had so much fun paper piecing these cards that I just had to share them.

I used the Key To My Heart ltd. edition paper set, did you miss out on yours? I have some extras for sale!!!!

The stamp set is Ms. On The Go, and she is such a Bella! I mean if you can cook in heals you must be a diva! right?

The card on the right says, Born to Shop... Not Mop! Ha how great is that. And the card on the right says, Hey There Cupcake! I got that sentiment from the Cupcake Sprinkles set. I hope you enjoyed these Bellas as I sure had fun making them. Thanks for looking!!

20 Card Challenge

I decided to challenge myself. What would it be like to create the 20 card challenge using only the level 2 paper pack and stamp sets of my choice? I watched CTMH TV Crazy For Cards, and followed their directions and the printable template. I chose the Stardust pack, and the coordinating stamp set Reach for the Stars. It took me a lot longer than the presenter suggested to do all the cutting, but it wasn't difficult. I also chose a stamp image that required colouring in and that took more time to complete my 20 images. But over all I found it fun and the cards were not overly simplified, despite making so many at once.
If you are interested in trying this challenge and are in the Leduc area I am thinking about running this as a card class either the last Monday of February or the last Saturday... depending on interest. You could choose any level 2 paper pack that you wish.

Here's the link CTMH TV Crazy For Cards .

Although I don't have a MYCTMH personal website I do offer the same discounted prices on the product bundles they mention after each episode of CTMH TV. Leave me a comment and I will contact you.

Thanks for looking :)

Here are some fall layouts to start with.

I created the title FALL using our Dimensional Elements, and colouring them with Terracotta ink and a dauber. Level 2 paper pack used is Abundance and the stamp set is Autumn Splendor.

For this Halloween layout I used the paper pack Enchanted with Terracotta embellishments and ink. I scored and sanded the Sunflower paper for an interesting look and to tone down its brightness.

TFL,
Becky

Here it is!!

Well here it is.
My first attempt at blogging.
I have so much to learn, just setting things up seems foreign right now.
My goal is to have posted my cards, layouts, and upcoming events so everyone can tune into one place to be inspired and keep up to date.
Let me get some pictures up ... phew
Here we go
